DnD: Error when persisting parent/child transient objects

Factory creates a parent transient object with a child transient object.

View opened on each object in DND viewer.

Parent is made persistent (this also persists child). However child still shows transient view. If child is 'saved' error occurs -

Not persistable exception : object already persistent.

Would have expected the child view to become a persistent view when parent persisted.
